I am a creative all-rounder with a great desire to design, change and improve.
My passion is to move people and realize visions. It is often said about me that I am very good at overviewing and communicating complex interrelationships. Even with many details I keep the overall view and have a great empathy for situations, structures and personal or social sensitivities.
I was born and raised in Münsterland. After a technical education and basic studies in journalism at the Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, I took over and managed a service company in the ITC sector with 10 employees in Cologne as managing partner in 2000. Since 2008 I live and work in Berlin. Here, as the managing director of a company with more than 50 employees, I was able to expand my knowledge in building structures as well as in personnel management.
Since my training as a mediator by Michael Cramer and Zoë Schlär (‘klären und lösen’/Berlin) I am a member of the ‘Bundesverband Mediation e.V.’ and work as a freelance mediator and facilitator in Berlin and Cologne. Due to my entrepreneurial activities, I can also draw on extensive knowledge of organizational processes and business management requirements. I am regularly involved in the field of voluntary self-help, currently with the Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe e.V. in Berlin.
